Be among the first to see the second edition of Desert X, a boundary pushing, environmental art biennial in Palm Springs and the surrounding environs. Join Verge’s Founding Director Liv Moe, for the three days of art and design set against a beautiful desert landscape.
Trip activities are scheduled for February 11-13, 2019.
- DAY ONE will feature a docented tour of the Noah Purifoy Foundation led by Independent Curator, Yael Lipshutz, who co-curated “Junk Dada” for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2015. Later in the day you’ll be treated to a rare tour of A to Z West, the private home of artist Andrea Zittel
- DAY TWO begins at the Palm Springs Art Museum for a tour of “Unsettled,” an exhibition of works about the American West created in collaboration with Ed Ruscha and will conclude with a visit to two Desert X art sites
- DAY THREE will focus on Desert X installations in and around Palm Springs.
Transportation each day, as well as lunches and afternoon happy hour, will be provided. Space for 20; sold as individual tickets ($1,000 per person non-refundable)
