25 Million Stitches Sewing Circle
January 30, 2020
5:30pm - 8:30pm
Join us for a sewing circle to learn basic embroidery techniques and make a panel to be included in the Verge exhibition of 25 Million Stitches this Spring!
About 25 Million Stitches
Created by Verge resident artist Jennifer Kim Sohn, 25 Million Stitches aims to amass literally that many stitches (on fabric panels embroidered by people like you) to visually represent the astronomical number of refugees in the world today. No single stitch can fully represent an individual, but the act of stitching and the resulting artwork will help bring attention to the scale of the crisis.
