Verge has a fundraising goal of $50,000 this year. The funds will help bring exhibitions, workshops, school tours, artist residencies, movie programming, scholarships, educational camps, infrastructure upgrades to our classroom, ensuring programs are more ADA accessible, Sac Open Studios and for Verge to develop more programs to bring to the community of Sacramento.
There are gifts and matching opportunities from partners and sponsors of the program to make your donation go even further. Individuals can create supporting fundraisers to help boost visibility and money raised. BDOG is organized by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. If you use your Golden One Debt or Credit Card to make the donation the Credit Union will partly match your donation up to 100,000. A giant Thank You to The James and Susan McClatchy Fund who generously is doing a match of 100% for each of your donations, all the way up to 20k!
As a non-profit we rely on the support of our members and community to help us bring programs and education to the Sacramento Region. The Big Day Of Giving fundraising event supports nonprofits and local causes in Sacramento. BDOG is a great way to give to organizations that strengthen the Sacramento region. Verge Center for the Art believes art is an essential part of our culture and commits to encourage, support, promote and preserve art through programming that is accessible and inclusive to all communities. We believe art can recognize and celebrate the differences among human kind.
