The Met Art Show Fundraiser

Verge Center for the Arts and The Met Sacramento are pleased to partner and bring you the Met Art Show Fundraiser.
The entirety of The Met Art Show Fundraiser is work created by the Met Sacramento High School’s studio-art students. The art is bright, unique, and something refreshing to see coming from high school students. The work showcased was created by students throughout the year as they learned about the mediums they practiced.
The Met Sacramento High School specializes in preparing students for careers in the future. Each student is required to search for and pursue an internship in a field in which they are interested. Once acquired, students must go twice a week and create a project that will benefit their internship, the community, and/or the Met Sacramento. The Met Art Show Fundraiser is a project by Verge Center for the Arts intern, Arabella Meza, in order to fundraise for the studio-art program at the Met Sacramento and help fund Big Picture Learning Kenya.
