Kids have the week off but you don’t? Send them to Verge to learn all about fiber art!

Day 1 campers will learn the ins and outs of weaving! They will explore the different uses of yarn by creating their own wall hanging using multiple techniques.

Day 2 will be the basics of sewing and embroidery! Campers will learn how basic stitches can be used for both 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional art.

Day 3 is fabric creations! Campers will be encouraged to find new meaning and intention by up-cycling fabric and clothing into their own art piece with inspiration from contemporary artist Aiko Hachisuka.
