Landscape Painting

Have you been craving more time to paint? Does exploring the infinite beauty of nature make you feel alive and free? Now there’s an opportunity to enjoy nature’s wonders while pursuing your passion for art!

The key to improving as an artist is practice. Maybe up until now, life has been getting in your way. You’ve been waiting for the right time to work with an instructor on a regular basis to improve, and here’s your chance.  In this series on the first Fridays of every month (second Friday in January), you’ll gain more experience and confidence in order to paint anything from nature.  You can keep coming back for as many months as you want! The painting subjects will never repeat!

Each session will be a full step-by-step day of diving into a seasonal landscape.  Think snow-capped mountains in January, desert super-blooms in March, tropical beaches in July, and crisp autumn forests in November.

Here’s what you can expect in each class:

• An instructor who’s kind, cheerful, and knowledgeable.

• In-depth color mixing demonstrations.

• How to work with light and shadow to create life-like paintings.

• How to loosen up your brushwork so that your paintings don’t seem stiff and awkward.

• How to see what’s actually in a scene instead of what you think you want to see.

• Pleasing, seasonal reference pictures that will fine tune your skills while keeping things fun and friendly.

• Creativity coaching to tap into a more intuitive and fearless headspace.
