About the Instructor

I’m an artist and illustrator working in Sacramento, CA, where I was born and raised. I have devoted my life to a pursuit of beauty and create without regard for superficial boundaries. My creative practice brings together drawing, photography, beadwork, sewing, cooking, and encompasses any action that is formed by the hands. I have known I was an artist since I was a small child, where I used to spend hours outside, sewing leaves together using pine needles and ripping apart cardboard into thin strips, forming them into notebooks to draw in. My main focus since 2023 is my car series, where I use colored pencil, ink, and watercolor to draw whimsical landscapes for your eyes to dance in. In Spring, Winter, and Fall I teach the joy of art to high school students. In the Summer I hunker down and get to work finishing my drawings, jewelry, and sewing projects.
