Clay & Print Exhibition
Traditionally celebrated as a December showcase for works crafted by members of Verge’s weekly clay lab and local community ceramists, Clay Club is expanding its horizons! This year, we are thrilled to also feature prints created by members of Verge’s print lab and regional print-makers, bringing an exciting new dimension to our annual holiday sale.
During the run of the exhibition participants are invited to submit works created over the past year for purchase with 50-100% of all proceeds supporting Verge’s education programs.
Prices are set by the artists, all sales are final and must take place in person.

Exhibition dates: December 4 – 27
This exhibition is a month long sale of works produced by members of Verge’s lab community including clay/print lab regulars, instructors, community ceramic/printmaking artists.

FAQ: How do I join?
– Simply fill out a participation form prior to November 14th to be included in our promotional material. We will contact you as the date gets closer.
When should I drop off my work?
– We will begin collecting work on November 17th through November 23rd
What can I submit?
– Pretty much anything you want, however, clay creations must be structurally sound and ready to install on shelves or hung on the wall. Prints do not need to be framed. Verge reserves the right to reject any work that violates our community standards but other than that, bring us everything. Once the show opens in December, you may continue to replenish work that sells throughout the run of the exhibition. Just deliver it to a Verge staff person for install.
How should I price my work?
– It’s up to you but if you need help with pricing, we can help! 50-100% of the final sale supports Verge’s clay programs.
Please have stickers on the work indicating the price when you drop off.
When should I pick up my unsold pieces?
– You may pick up any unsold pieces during gallery hours in January
- IMPORTANT: Any work that is left at Verge 30 days past the end of the exhibit, becomes the property of Verge. Abandoned art could be contributed to future Verge fundraisers or disposed of at the organization’s discretion.
