Studio Availability & Selection Process

Currently all studios are full, but as space becomes available, all applications will be reviewed by an independent panel to select an artist for the space.

As a contemporary art space, Verge places a preference on applicants who show a focus on new disciplines and an emphasis on emerging or career artists with a track record of production and exhibitions. Through our studio program we aim to diversify Sacramento’s community of artists.

Disclaimers:

If you have been previously accepted to our waitlist, you remain eligible for a studio when one becomes available.

If you have been contacted and denied an available studio twice, you will be removed from the waitlist and required to apply again before being considered for a studio.
