Diana Jahns will demonstrate techniques for artists photographing their artwork at home or studios. Artists are encouraged to bring their camera if they have one. Expensive or professional cameras are not required. Cameras functions and lighting techniques will be discussed. Participants will be able to ask questions at any time during the demonstrations and workshop.
Schedule:
1:00-2:00PM: Techniques for photographing 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artwork with DSLR cameras, point ‘n shoot and cell phone camera will be discussed and demonstrated with time for participant questions.
Good, clear photo=lighting, focus+depth of field
2:00-3:00pm: Techniques for processing digital photographs for artists will be discussed. Image editing software like Adobe Photoshop will be introduced.
Software to crop, resize, adjust exposure, color correct
