Lunch Break/Snack Policy
Campers get an hour break for lunch between 12:00pm-1:00pm. During this time they may sit wherever they would like to eat their lunch. After their lunch has been eaten they have time for free play. Games and toys are provided and once or twice a week there is an instructor-led activity. Campers may bring snacks for themselves to be eaten during free time before and after camp. Water is provided but please send your camper with a water bottle.
Notes
Maximum enrollment for a camp is 18 campers to ensure that all campers get a quality experience. A waitlist for camps is available but there is no guarantee a spot will become available.
Youth-Art-Mentors
Is your child too old for camp? Sign them up to be a Youth-Art-Mentor (YAM)! This program is designed for 14-18 year olds who have a love of teaching and art. Our YAMs provide assistance to the instructor and help to our younger campers. YAMs are expected to interview and attend a pre-camp orientation session to learn more about their role. If you know someone who would be interested in becoming a Youth-Art-Mentor please contact Susan at susan@vergecontemporary.org.
