Artist Salon: SPACE and PLACE

Please join us February 15th at 5:30pm in Verge’s main gallery as we discuss our current exhibition, SPACE and PLACE. The show’s creators, Black Salt Collective, seek to present their art and its dialogue in a way that is quite different from how artwork done by those on the peripheral of museum culture is typically shown. How does this enhance their message? How does presenting the work of marginalized communities in a didactic way take away from the meaning of their work?
