Sacramento Zine Fest

May 12th, 2018
11am-5pm
Free

Unibrow Collective presents Sacramento Zine Fest—a showcase of DIY and alternative press zines as well as other artwork for display and purchase from the artists themselves! This is a free, all ages event on Second Saturday, May 12th, 2018 from 11am-5pm at Verge Center for the Arts! Catch the last weekend of The Jumble Sale while scoping some zines.

What is a zine? You might ask. Zines come in all shapes and sizes but primarily fit the bill of a smaller in size, self-published maga-zine. Content of zines may range from poetry and creative writing, to music and fashion review, to feminism and POC empowerment, to any art book made solo or collaboratively.

Zine Fest will also feature non-zine items sold by their makers such as stickers, pins, patches, shirts, prints, or other artworks. And there will be a video projection of short art films looped throughout the day.

Come on through! Bring your friends! Bring your family!
