Class of 2020

March 6, 2021 - May 9, 2021

reception: May 8, 2021 5pm - 8pm

Verge is excited to present its first exhibition in a year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Class of 2020 showcases the work of the 2020 Ali Youssefi Project (AYP) artists in residence. The title is a nod to the unique challenges the artists faced pursuing their residencies during quarantine and largely in isolation as both the Verge and WAL communities were locked down. The works produced reveal the deep personal explorations that come not just through the luxury of time and space that a residency provides, but also through the additional focus that solitude allows.

Note: Lunchtime Art Chats with participating artists will be ongoing throughout the run of the show. Check the events tab of our website for days and times.

Featured artists: Justin Amrhein, Brooklynn Johnson, Angel King, Vincent Pacheco, Muzi Rowe, Terence Wong
